How The Convenings Work
The Convenings creatively engages communities around life’s big questions: How can we live meaningful lives, as fully as possible in spite of disease and disability until the end of our lives and how do we want that end to go?
Those questions require some careful soul searching and we have the tools to help get the conversation started. Our signature evening event is hosted by broadcast journalist Cathy Wurzer.
Using music, performances and storytelling done by local community members, Cathy then leads a thoughtful, non-threatening public conversation about what matters most now and at the end of our lives.
The conversations keep going, months after the event, through special, secure community web portals, leadership development tools and events, book clubs and training opportunities.
Each community will work with our planning team to make sure The Convenings series of events is personal and meaningful for each local community.
